KeyBoy Drops New Single Lonely Stoner

Just in time for 4/20

APRIL 12, 2016 (Hutchinson, Kansas)– There is no doubt, weed is now a major factor in the hip hop lifestyle. In fact, you can find references to it in much of today’s rap lyrics. KeyBoy’s new song Lonely Stoner highlights the lifestyle in an open manner but hints at something more. The lyric, “Take away the pain Mary, take away the pain Jane,”suggests a reference to both emotional and physical pain.

When asked about his views on smoking, KeyBoy says, “I just see no harm with smoking marijuana. Look how many states have already legalized weed. Look how many states that are now in the process of legalization.” He believes that many people that smoke will relate to this song. “I just hope those who listen understand the meaning behind Lonely Stoner. I believe every pot head will feel alone until its legal everywhere.” There is also a reference to physical pain. In fact, the follow up video will feature disabled veterans suffering from loneliness, post-traumatic stress syndrome and physical pain from their injuries. Court battles are raging all of the country to ease the pain for vets and others with painful conditions that could be helped with widespread legalization. KeyBoy is sympathetic to their plight, “Thankfully it’s already helping so many people medically with their pain.”

KeyBoy is releasing this song to SoundCloud on Wednesday, April 12th so that it will get around to all during the 4/20 week and ensure that everyone, regardless of money, will be able to listen to and relate to the song. This song isn’t about making money, it’s about bringing together a community.
